Valentine's Cards Workshop

For this week's DRAWING IN on Saturday 11th February, 3-5pm, Alice Dansey-Wright (who created our current window display) will be making Valentine's cards. Drop in any time between 3-5pm to draw your own just in time to pass it on to someone special on Tuesday 14th February.

* * as always DRAWING IN is free of charge, no booking required, open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult, some materials are provided but feel free to bring your own * *

Valentine's Window

The latest window display was created by Glasgow based illustrator Alice Dansey-Wright especially for Valentine's Day, you can find her lovely cards in the shop just now too!

Drawing In

Since 14th January, Drawing In has been taking place every Saturday afternoon in the foyer at the CCA between 3-5pm. It is open to all and is quite simply a place to create and exchange ideas, an informal drawing club of sorts. Basic materials are provided but you are welcome to bring your own and/or anything you have been working on. It has been great fun so far and will continue every Saturday afternoon until further notice so do come and join in!

New window...

Libby Walker and Greer Pester are currently setting up an installation in the window based around their interpretation of St Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow... Here are a few sneak peeks, all will be revealed soon!

Welcome to 2012! Hope you all had a good break and enjoyed the festivities... Welcome Home had a great end to 2011 but I'm now looking forward to what the new year will bring!

The shop is back to normal opening hours now, Tuesday-Saturday, 11-6pm and I'm in the process of getting in lots of lovely new stock for you all so see you soon.
