As it's national wool week it would be rude not to indulge in some cosiness... This week's product of the week is Hilary Grant's Rocky Mountain cushions which are hand made from 100% lambswool knitted in great patterns and felted for extra softness. I love them and want to create a whole landscape for myself. At present they are available in store only but I will be digging out the camera and getting them in the online shop soon!

** EDIT - these are now available to buy online too, hooray! Different sizes and colours available from just £8!! **

Product of the week

There are lots of new designers in store at the moment and more clothing in the dressing room in time to make some great additions to your summer wardrobes! Last Friday saw not only the opening of Set in Stone but the arrival of Chouchou Couture here at Welcome Home...

"Chouchou Couture is an emerging, Glasgow based designer label. We create bespoke and limited release garments and accessories inspired by the same city girls that choose and layer our pieces. The S/S 2010 Collection has been created mixing elements of vintage Italian tailoring and the lifestyle of the U.S. West Coast. All garments and accessories have been handmade ethically in Rome using local cottons, silks and leathers."

This week's product of the week is the chemise dress from Chouchou Couture. A one of a kind dress made with dead stock vintage Italian silk in an amazing print. These pieces are available in store only as you really need to try them on and see the full collection. We've also got a great selection of vintage sunglasses handpicked by Chouchou Couture from Paris and Rome, now all we need is the sunshine again!
